My favorite tattoo and the story behind it

My favorite is my tribal/flower/butterfly half sleeve, which is my 5th tat. My ex husband emotionally abused me for years and wanted to control me. The last straw was when he told me that I couldn't get tattoos because he didn't want me to because it "ruined" my body. My body is MY temple, I didn't and don't belong to anyone; I couldn't stop being ME. So I filed for divorce and immediately went to the tattoo shop. The artist freehanded a few ideas I had in mind and I he started tattoing me. I felt so free.

My next tattoo

In no particular order: -I want to finish up my half sleeve and turn it into a full sleeve by adding more butterflies and designs. I want to have the state butterfly for each state I have lived in, so signify those times of my life. -portrait of my grandmother -serenity prayer on scroll, with roses on top and bottom -different themed skeleton keys to represent important people in my life
