Myself, in a sentence
I'm a passionate and motivated tattoo enthusiast who lives and breathes all forms of the arts from creation to execution. I enjoy travel, friends and adventures.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
Windmill definitely, though it is tied along with many others! Both grandparents on my fathers side were born in Holland and had a lot of struggles along their journey to Canada at a young age after they were recently married and have been married for 57 years now. It's to commemorate my ancestry and it looks beautiful. It also is my tattoo artist, Aaron Ryan's, favorite tattoo that he's ever done on anyone, which makes me extremely proud to hold on me forever.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
I'd been holding on to this picture for about 2 years which I'd found in a National Geographic when in Art Class in high school. I waited until my 18th birthday and then went out and got it on my right hip, it says Fantasy when looking straight on and then upside down it says Reality. Unfortunately the needle was a little harshly deep so there's some scar tissue there.
My next tattoo
I never tend to get just one tattoo. As I don't live in the same city as my artist, and he either visits me or i visit him, I tend to stock up 5 or more tattoos at each time. On my most recent visit to him I got about 15 hours worth of work in about 5 days. It does get a little painful but it's always worth it. I plan on adding to sleeves to make them a bit more full and adding to the tattoos on my legs but I couldn't tell you what, it comes together at the time!
