Myself, in a sentence

I am a mortician's assistant and artist. I've been modeling for about 6 years and am also an accomplished artist and writer. I love the outdoors, rock climbing, being a professional jewelry designer and creator as well as spending as much time as possible watching movies and listening to music. I just recently moved to Portland, Oregon, but before I moved, I lived in a small town in Wyoming. While I lived there, I tattooed, pierced and silk screened for over 2 years, then switched to my current occupation. I'm a huge dork. I love gaming on either PC game consoles. Some of my favorite games are COD, Halo, Tekken and Mortal Kombat. Reading is one of my favorite quiet time activities and my favorite authors are Patricia Cornwell and Chuck Palahniuk. Music is pretty much my whole life and couldn't imagine having to live without it. When I'm not working on art or working in general, I'm going to as many shows as possible and enjoying the music culture within Portland. I love hanging with my friends and family, but cant handle or deal with over dramatic individuals, who are overly self consumed. I've been personally interested in tattoos since I was kid. I was half raised in a tattoo shop and was always drawing on myself. So i guess all in all, I'm just an artist and like to share thoughts and ideals with other like minded people of the artisan community.

My favorite tattoo and the story behind it

My favorite tattoo is the one on my neck. Its a dragonfly that I had put there to show respect and dedication to my adopted mother. She has always loved dragonflies and had even named her bead store after after one. I've been putting certain tattoos on my body to reflect my respect and love to my family members. My mom is one of the most important people in my life; I wanted to get something that showed that and was show cased to the world to reflect how much I love and care for her. I did grey scale for the basis of it and then added two colors to metaphorically represent that not everything is just black and white.

My first tattoo and the story behind it

My first tattoo is a little 1 1/2" 'R' on the bottom edge of my back. I got it when I was 16 and regret it to this very day in ways. I had the opportunity to get it but I got it by having my aunt sign as my legal guardian [which she wasn't] at a local tattoo shop in Casper. Suffice it to say, I got it, I got caught and now I wish I would of thought it through a bit better, but I guess that is what happens when you are dumb and just want some ink.

My next tattoo

I am planning on getting the swan on my arm finished as well as getting some filler done on my left sleeve.
