I am a nineteen year old female, but I have the personality of a boy, Love riding motox, fishing, nrl and am obsessed with comic books and tattoo books, I have probably spent atleaset three grand all together, I'm an apprentice tiler, I've been in the construction industry since age fifteen and woulnd't think of doing anything else. I have designed my tattoo's. and I have also designed alot of my mates tattoos, in spare time I love drawing and spray painting and air brushing.
I plan to be covered in tattoos, and I have already designed all of them.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My chest piece by far, its an owl mid flight holding an old pocket watch, with the time 11:11.
my chest piece is completly for my grand parents, as my great grandmother died while giving birth to my grandfather, and she is the only person in my family I am said to look like, as I am the only one in my family, with curly brown hair and a darker complexion, and her name is olive, along with the main story with owls, "they are said to keep us closer to the deceased" and I believe this is true. the story of 11:11 has been sent down through my family, i remember when I was little being told to make a wish at that time because that's when the "gates are open" now that metaphor is coming from a christian family, and that if you made a wish at that time, our ansestors were looking over us and would grant us a wish because thats the only time they could hear us.
and having an owl on my chest, with its wings the way they are, I feel safer.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
"Neveah" under my left collar bone,
I am very family orientated, but as a child growing up I was considered a "mistake" to my family, but when I went to my great grandparents house, I felt safe, as If it were a sanctuary, I remember walking in the front gate, next to the mail box was a little plaque that was also very old that had "Neveah" burnt into it. words can't describe what there back yard was like, but I'll try
you walked uo the drive way to to a garage that was always open and in it was a very very old green Holden 50-2106 utility that they had bought in 1953, it still looked so perfect, then after you walked past that there was a tree that had leaves extending out to cover most of the back yeard, it was huge! then you could walk over a little bridge, to the right was an avairy, and a veggie patch on the left, then yyou would come to a hedge, that was more then eight foot tall, and in it was an arch way with a swing they had made from a very old ladder, and in behind the hedge was a mulberry tree,
now as I got older, things started to wither, and the archway eventually closed over the swing, the birds were set free, and nan and pa shortly died, now I remember when ever I was frightend when I was little I would imagine that very garden, and instantly I felt safe.
when pa passed awayI was in another state, but nans funeral was the first I went to, and seeing her in her open casket, with light shining down on to the veil that was laid over her, I emtionally broke,
And so I booked into ink attack, and told them what I wanted, now with that word, "neveah" permanently on me, I can always feel safe and I will never forget them, nor my sanctuary.
My next tattoo
My next tatto will be on my right thigh, it will be a serpent that looks quite angry with three baby birds in its coils, to represent my mother protecting me and brother and sister.
now the reason I have my mother represented as a snake it due to my childhood.
