My favorite tattoo is my quarter sleeve on my right arm, not finished yet..but almost. It's a harpy with medusa's head. Long story short, to me it means several things. For one, Beauty always passes and that it is necessary to have a beautiful personality so that one day when your ugly and old that you wont be completely alone. Nobody likes a bitchy slut that is ugly too. It just doesn't work in the long run. Especially in medusa's case, she was doing bad things in a bad place and so she got turned from a beautiful mortal into a ugly snake haired lady. The harpy ties into medusa's story.
