Myself, in a sentence
Coffee drinkin quircky, sassy, doom metal art history nerd.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My Kim Saigh rendition of Botticelli's "Primavera" painting. I'm a huge art history and Botticelli nerd and Kim NAILED the tattoo! It had been something I was dreaming about since I was in high school and after I met Kim, I knew she was the right woman for the job!
My first tattoo and the story behind it
A portrait of my grandfather drawn by my favorite artist at the time [Cristy Road]. I was 18 and my best friend and I had made a pact since we were kids to get our first tattoos together. The portrait was done by some guy on my ribs and I feel like I toughed it out pretty well. Much better than my friend, who got a smaller tattoo on his arm. I'm 23 now and my parents STILL don't know about this one, which is weird because I have several other large, visible pieces. Going to keep it a secret for as long as possible just for the fun of it.
My next tattoo
Oh god. Hopefully something by Grime. This sounds creepy but I kind of want him to just tattoo his name on me….or a sexy gypsy type skeletal lady with some gnarly, evil-ish goat horns. I'm also planning on getting a bird breaking out a cage on my thigh, I haven't found an artist yet though.
