My first tattoo was three nautical stars on the inside of my right foot. While simple, they represent the three hardest things I had to overcome in life. My parents divorced when I was young, so it took it's toll on me. The family I had grown up thinking was so great, was falling apart. From there, I got super depressed and dealt with some pretty heavy stuff at a young age. I went through and battled two co-existing eating disorders and my cutting. So one star is dealing with my family falling apart, one star is my eating disorders, and the other was my cutting.

My next tattoo was three cherry blossoms on my left side. When I was in my freshman year of high school, I had two close friends commit suicide within two months of each other. Later that year, another close friend died of a drug overdose. So, I got this tattoo as a tribute to them because they were very important to me.
