Myself, in a sentence
A badass graphic designing ninja bgirl model who enjoys kickass cars, riding my great dane around like a miniature pegasus, hanging out with your mom & finding ways to make this sentence much longer than it needs to be. But really, I just see myself as a unicorn [with sparkles].
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My halftone pattern on my right arm. I'm a graphic designer and I always found the printing process very interesting, specifically the halftone pattern, which I saw when looking at a grayscale image with a magnifying glass. My boss was showing me a moire pattern which occurred from scanning a halftone image. He began explaining to me the process, how the error had occurred and what exactly a halftone was. I was fascinated and I think at that moment I knew I was going to love my job. I have only ever seen 2 tattoos that look anything close to mine. People question me all the time about it - at bars, the grocery store, while hiking, pumping gas - it's both a blessing and curse! Haha! I love it and think it's one of a kind.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
The abstract design on the back of my neck. It started as my name, but the more I drew the more it morphed into something totally different. It ended up looking like a tribal feather. I actually intend on doing a coverup of some sort, probably turning it into an actual feather that more covers the back of my neck.
My next tattoo
Working on it now! Full sleeve on my left arm, about halfway done I'd say. It's a solid gradient that goes from deep blue/green to a light mint green color with small stars throughout, meant to represent a galaxy. It will merge into clouds above my elbow which will go a little higher than my mid-bicep. From there I'm going to add more black birds, connecting my tattoo from my side/shoulder. Essentially, it'll be like you're entering the atmosphere from outer space.
