My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
I have a Koi Fish with surrounding water and roses. My Grandmother, who was pretty much my mother, passed in 2008. She was an extraordinarily strong Woman - She fought cancer for 3 years when the Drs said she would be lucky to make it to 6 months. All of the things a Koi represents.... Courage, Strength and Longevity - Is what My Grandmother was to Me. Her name was Rose Faith - I thought to have such a Spiritual Fish along with some Roses to be a very fitting permanent Remembrance of Her. :]
My first tattoo and the story behind it
OMG!!! My first tattoo was some celtic moons going up the front side of my underwear line. I was 15 and my friends Moms Boyfriend [who was consistently in and out of jail] starts on this major project that is going to be an artwork surrounding my underwear line from front to back consisting of images and pieces that meant something to me - he started on the front with the celtic moons - then adding and elephant??? Where the Hell was that in the blueprint??? Cause I don't remember approving that one - I learned my lesson to never close your eyes trying to escape pain by focusing on something else - hey, first tattoo - whatever! Frequent Breaks + the elephant discouraged me for the night and I thought Best to finish another time.... Although, one of his "consistent" trips to jail would prevent this from happening... only to leave me with this "unfinished project" displaying 2 celtic moons, an elephant and little broken lines he tattooed all the way around my body like some underwear so he would have "straight line reference" as he tattooed... SMH fml for re-living that moment! LOL
My next tattoo
I am looking into images that can represent the "breakage of the barriers" that separates Animals and Humans.
