My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My favorite tattoo is definitely my half sleeve. I asked my buddy Chris Autry at Black Orchid Tattoo in Savannah, GA, for locks, keys, and flowers, and he came back to me with the whimsical beauty on my left arm. I love that I gave so little direction for a piece that turned out so me, and I can't wait to make it a full sleeve!
My first tattoo and the story behind it
My first tattoo was a compass rose in the middle of my upper back. I got it done when I was 17, and while I thought I was super cool then, it was a few years later that I realized I had a tattoo that looked like it had been drawn by a preschooler. That first tattoo is now covered up by my second - a lovely orchid branch.
