Myself, in a sentence
I am a very unique Latin female focusing on various types of art in life, from makeup and fashion to toy designs and watercolor paintings. Art is my life, I'm looking for all forms of ways to express myself through art, modeling to showcase my permanent art is one of them. I am currently a freelance makeup artist for FlippinFaces in NYC, working on sets of television, commercials and focusing now more on bridal. I also have a side business of designing custom toys for clients, [Under the business name of "Mini Moi Toys"] making 4"-7" figurines of either themselves [portraits] or famous characters from Marvel, Star Wars, Anime, etc. You can find me making over the faces of brides around the country or designing your next custom Munny toy.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My sleeve of course is my favorite tattoo, It's a design of an octopus with makeup products [lipstick, eyeshadow and brushes etc] in each tentacle. On the bottom half of my arm is a Lion fish with big red lips. Both the Octopus and Fish have eyeshadow and lashes as they are both females representing me as a makeup artist. I relate mainly to an octopus not because they are one of the most amazing creatures on earth, but because of how easily they camouflage depending on their environment as I do as well. I work with many different personalities and adapting is important, it's a form of understanding my clients, helping them also feel at ease and comfortable.
The Lion Fish is an amazing fish to look at, with it's unique stripes and spiky fin rays, it reminds me of walking into a room and being center of attention from just one glance. It's such a beautiful eye catching fish but yet venomous and not exactly the friendliest. My Lion Fish is fabulous but deceitful, I love it!!.
My background design is all anemones and corals with bubbles and 3 different water designs: deep water, waves and flowing. I am still in the process of finishing my sleeve Tattooed and Designed by "Needles" at East Side Ink NYC.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
My frist tattoo is a chinese character which means "Soul Mate" on my inner right wrist I share with my best friend as he is truly my other half.
My next tattoo
I love the way tattooed ribs look on a female, I am considering either a fun pinup style cartoon girl with unique flowers and possibly incorporating art or makeup again. I would like to save this next project for another amazing artist, my dear friend Hector Daniels of Park City Tattoo. I will see you soon!
