My sacred apple, inspired by the sacred heart of Jesus, reflects the passion I have for my career. Completed by Juan Puente while I was in San Francisco for business reasons, I could not leave the city without something from Juan at Blackheart. This tattoo reflects what's most dear to me--education.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
A tribal-ish dragonfly--hey, I was 21 and wanted a tattoo. My desire for a tattoo trumped any thought about artist, location, style, or subject matter. I blame it on the 1990s!

Heath Smith at Showdown will emblazon me with Stay Down. Not brave enough to have that across my knuckles, it'll need to find an alternate location.
