Myself, in a sentence
I'm a unique women who lives by her own rule of being who you want to be. My style of tattoos is beauty combined with a dark element.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
It's my "fuck you" to all you who get the same tattoos, like the butterfly tramp stamp. It's a picture of a red widow spider killing a butterfly. The butterfly is located on my lower back, right where all those tramp stamps are. I wanted to make a statement that I'd rather do my own thing, go my own way, even if people don't like it. This tattoo is me saying, you don't have to follow trends to be cool.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
I'd been branding myself for several years before I got a tattoo. Growing up in a religious house where tattoos were "bad" I decided if I couldn't have a tattoo, I'd make one by branding, so I branded some sun rays around my belly button. Later when I decided to break away from the religious chains I got a real sun tattooed around my belly button in significance to the fire from branding.
My next tattoo
Ironically, my next tattoo is a mystery even to me. I'll be in this tattoo wars a couple of artists are doing. The theme is rockabilly so it will have an old school muscle car with the hot chick, depicting "Elvira." But my tattoo guy is keeping more details on the down low. It's more his theme and ideas than what I would normally ask him to do, but I'm excited about adding my love of muscle cars to my canvas, especially after being a tire technician. The Elvira character comes from my sense of style being more dark and mysterious.
