My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
Every tattoo has a special meaning, so it would be very hard to pick a favorite. My sleeve was this crazy idea that popped into my head so fast, and I had to have it. It's a collection of some of my favorite little critters, and my birth flower. The lower half of my arm has red roses and creatures thought to be beautiful...hummingbird, ladybug, monarch caterpillar, dragonfly. The upper half of my arm progresses to darker and more mysterious flora and fauna...moth, tarantula, crow, and venus fly traps. I wanted to show both of the beautiful and intriguing sides of nature, at least, to me.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
I got a Celtic cross on the back of my neck when I was 19. My grandfather had given me a necklace just like it, that I had sadly lost. I later added his name and some shamrocks after he passed, as I was his namesake.
My next tattoo
Where to start...Sleeve the other arm with underwater theme. Memorial portrait piece for my father with some lyrics from a song on my left ribs. Custom chest piece. Pheonix down my right ribs/thigh. Hourglass on left upper thigh. And both legs from shin to foot with entire Nightmare Before Christmas cast and scenery. Just to name a few...
