Myself, in a sentence
The most graceful thing I'd ever met, slender, out of breath, and cigarettes. In the dark, whispering phantoms from her cold and die cut silhouette, she says " I've got a few regrets I wouldn't trade for the world."
Young, strong, independent, and most importantly, artistic. If asked what I could do the rest of my life, I would spend as much time as I could in front of a canvas, painting, creating. For as long as I can remember, painting and art has moved me, has been the biggest passion anyone could ever have. At a very young age I quickly began to have a desire to start expressing my love of art in the purest and permanent way. Tattoos not only fascinated me, I was infatuated with the idea of turning my own skin into a living, breathing canvas.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
I could never have just one favorite. Every tattoo I have is significant, and I love them all for that. I have two best friends, who I am so lucky to have in my life, and they both happen to be tattoo artists. Each of them have shared a piece of themselves with me through custom pieces of art I will proudly wear the rest of my life, and those tattoos are by far some of my favorites.
My first tattoo and the story behind it
My first tattoo was a kanji symbol on the back of my neck, that translates into “Dream.” I got this tattoo when I was 14, at a professional shop, and my reason behind it is that you can never stop dreaming. No matter what you’re facing in life, to never forget your dreams, to never stop working towards them, to never stop reaching for them! One of the quotes I have always lived by is “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined!” -Thoreau
My next tattoo
My next tattoo? Where to begin!? I have a custom Edgar Allan Poe back piece planned, I have a right calf city skyline piece planned, I have a left side steam punk gas mask planned. I’m surrounded by talented artists, and we are always planning something. I pretty much get tattooed on a weekly basis.
