My first tattoo is my sparrow on my hip.I have always been artistic and rebellious so that drew me to tattoos [growing up in the south made tattoos taboo which I loved].So I decided for my 18th birthday to get a tattoo.I got my sparrow bc my family is part Cherokee and the sparrows hold a special meaning to the Cherokees.Then I realized how I loved the pain of the tattoo and decided to keep going.Now they mean so much more to me.

My next tattoo will be a key on the indie of my arm with a colon cancer awareness ribbon.My best friend has the same one on her hip.It symbolizes my remission from not just my colon cancer but my other medical issues as well.
