Myself, in a sentence
Danielle, born and raised in Burlington, ON, is a bubbly, excited, and highly motivated artist who simply loves to create in every way possible. She started off in illustration, and spent most of her time dreaming of being a Tattoo artist. But, later found her way into a creative career when she attended Complections Academy of Makeup Artistry, and with that, she fell head-over-heels in love with the industry. She's recently moved into the heart of Toronto to be closer to the jobs, and does freelance Alt Modeling in her spare time. She's worked on plenty of music videos, independent films, editorials, countless photo shoots, and is now bringing up her numbers in magazine publications throughout the GTA. Zombies being one of her favorite subjects, she aspires to eventually be a Key Makeup Artist on the set of such TV shows like Walking Dead, or films like Dawn of the Dead.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My Chest Piece would be my favorite, and also my first tattoo. I had spent over a year designing it, and when I turned 20, I spent 3 months putting enough money away for it, until I finally found the perfect place to have it done: Time Will Tell Tattoos in Burlington, Ontario. As he prepped his station, Randy asked me where my other tattoos where situated... and when I told him that it was my first, he gawked at me so surprised! He said "You DO realize how much a tattoo on your chest will hurt, right?", to which I replied: "Go big, or go home?" with a cheeky smile. He laughed, put on his gloves, and told me to sit back and relax. Three sessions, and 10 and a half hours later, my first tattoo was complete, and I felt tough as nails. A wonderful experience.
My next tattoo
My next tattoo will probably be a semi-realistic/stylized version of The Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, with a great spin on it, as a half sleeve on my left arm.
