My first tattoo was one of a teddy bear on my ankle. I wanted something completely different, but the artist was concerned since I was only 15yrs old, so he had me think about it over night and said "It should be something Classic, that you'll love forever". My first thought.. My mom. My mother raised my sisters and I alone with a disability, and shes my hero. When I was little, i would sit at her feet and trace her two ankle tattoos with my fingers. She has one of a floppy, flimsy teddy bear, and one of a butterfly. So, not knowing Id have all the butterflies years later lol, I got a Shrek-style teddy on the opposite ankle :]

HAH! who knows.. I still have so much to finish with the tattoos I currently have, but continue to start new works all the time. I can have an idea one day, and it'll be on my body the next. That very thing is how I ended up with my calf piece!
