Myself, in a sentence
Born in Napa Valley, raised in Ireland, imported back to the USA. My tastes are varied and honestly, kinda weird. For example, I love Paxo stuffing. I've only been able to find it in the UK but I'll eat that stuff by the box. I enjoy cheesy shows like Stargate SG1, Bones, Merlin [anything on the BBC really], and Xena. I love color! If it's bright, beautiful, and bold, I want it. Animals are one of my favorite things. I own two dogs [shiba inu and doberman/blue heeler mutt], two turtles, and I'm hoping to foster a little pitbull puppy in the near future.
My favorite tattoo and the story behind it
My first tattoo will always be my favorite
My first tattoo and the story behind it
I only have one tattoo and it is by FAR my favorite. I had wanted one for a while and I was going through a lot of major life changes. New job, new place, new friends, new challenges; these things finally became the catalyst I needed! I had overcome a lot of obstacles and achieved many of the things I had wanted. But I needed more! I felt like sometimes I was getting in my own way and sabotaging my own success. My tattoo represents a lot of things that I find important and symbolic. The dragon represents good luck, prosperity, austerity, and tenacity. It is fierce! The phoenix represents rebirth, rising from the ashes of mistakes to become a beautiful bird once again. They are fighting because, even though they both stand for good intentions, I sometimes seem to get in my own way. Instead of letting good things flow, I seem to hold back. Last, but not least, the geisha, standing in the middle of this incredible battle between a dragon and a phoenix. She still manages to stay composed, beautiful, and strong in the middle of all the chaos. Some day, I hope to be the cool! This tattoo represents all the things that have brought me to this point, and all the things I hope to have going forward in my life. Past, present, and future; all wrapped into one tattoo.
My next tattoo
I'm unsure what I want next. I'm considering a half sleeve with a geisha samurai clothed in koi fish robes...
