I have the Witchblade on my right forearm. I got it as a symbol of female empowerment after I divorced my first husband. Plus, it's kick ass.

My first tattoo and the story behind it

My first tattoo was a rose with roots and wings. Strangely, the inspiration came from a sermon or a psalm I caught with my mother when I was a kid. It was something like "parents, give your children roots and wings" and all the stability and freedom they imply.

I have just started a sleeve on my left arm that is going to be the most kick ass octopus garden EVER!!
